Best Guitarist

10.Luca Turili

Have you ever heard this name? He is a guitarist from the band Rhapsody of fire (first named Rhapsody). This italian nationality player deserve to be chosen because his genius to the composition and orchestral arrangements coupled with the Rhapsody metal wing music flow, also his machine gun technique is rhythm constant and rapid.

09.Jason Becker
This guitarist is chosen for his genius. For those who don’t know, this player has the disease that makes all the nerves die and could not move his body, only her eyes were still able to glance at this moment. In such condition, he could still compose a song using the mouse on the computer sensor eye (yeah that’s great). It’s unfortunate that he suffered such a fate,  he is young and very talented guitarist. He ever had a duet with guitarist Marty Friedman from Megadeth to create a cacophony band with neo classic metal wing .

08.Vitto Brata
Still Remember this White Lion guitarist? He’s chosen because he’s one of the most intelligent player to choose the tone for harmony  using  taping method. For example, please listen to a song from White Lion titled Wait, We can hear there is a very melodic guitar that played with great tapping technique. Actually, there is tapping from Eddie Van Hale also, but anyway Brata is still the best.

07.Nuno Duarte Gil Mendes Bettencourt
As a guitarist and songwriter, Bettencourt draws from an eclectic variety of styles and influences. However, his most prominent work has been in the realm of rock and heavy metal guitar despite his most popular commercial hits being acoustic songs. Bettencourt's technical guitar playing is influenced by many different guitar players who have key attributes in their playing, that have rubbed off on Nuno such as Eddie Van Halen, Al Di Meola and Jimmy Page, while his solos and sense of melody are influenced by Brian May of Queen. He is particularly adept at arpeggios articulated via string-skipping tapping. One of the strongest elements in Nuno's playing is his sense of rhythm, often using a very loose wrist technique to execute fast triplet picking licks to create a funky sound to his rhythm playing and also his use of poly-rhythms to blur bar lines and create a unique sound.

06.Jimmy Hendrix
Although he’ve left this world for more than 30 years but his name still resonates among guitarists. It can not be denied that he was one of the most genius guitar player in this century, unfortunately his age was so short.

05.Michael Angelo Batio
Batio is (self-taught) ambidextrous, able to play two guitars at the same time either in synchronization or using separate harmonies or even playing completely different parts at once, as shown when he plays his famous Double-Guitar. Though naturally left-handed, he plays as right-handed when playing one guitar. Batio invented the "Over-Under" technique,[9] which involves flipping his fretting hand over and under the neck rapidly, playing the guitar both regularly and like a piano.
Batio gave lessons to guitarist Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave fame) while at college. Morello has credited MAB with teaching him in a feature article in Guitar World Magazine in 2005. Michael also gave lessons to guitarist Mark Tremonti after Creed broke up and Tremonti wanted to learn more techniques. Batio is also widely known for his extremely fast and well articulated alternate picking, which he credits to his use of anchoring, or planting the fingers he does not use while picking on the body of the guitar to restrict motion.
Batio has an advanced knowledge of music theory, having a deep understanding of complex scale combinations and time signatures which assist him in his compositions. Batio has cited F-sharp minor and F-sharp phrygian dominant as one of his favorite keys. He has described F sharp minor as a "demonic" key, giving a dark, evil sound.

04.John Petrucci
He is the guitarist of the band dream theater. Everyone agree if he is in the ranks of the top 10 best guitarist. But there is 1 thing that’s not good from this man, which is the habit of showmanship. He seems to always look to the neck of the guitar during a solo. But anyway Petrucci is still one of the guitarists with a great technical, too.

03.Paul Gilbert
Anyone doesn’t know this tall guitarist who is the former guitarist of the band MR.BIG? He is chosen for reasons of speed picking tone with proper melody and also the good vocal quality.

02.Joe Satriani
The reason he is chosen as runner-up is practically just in terms of album sales and the recipient of the award as instrumentalist rock album has been achieved by him. In other side We have to admit that he is also very creative in the selection of tone.

01.Steve Vai
Maybe all know that Steve Vai is the only guitarist that has a complete technique as well as remarkable playing sound. So it is very appropriate if the first position is occupied by the master such as Steve Vai.
